Unfortunately we have had to make the decision to postpone the GVYC this year because of the Winter Olympics. There was no way that we can afford to put it on with the extremely high rates at the hotel, as well as the large outreach campaign we are hosting. We will be having it again next year on February 3-5, 2011. Please pray for us as we prepare already for this important conference.

The dust has finally settled here at GVBC and we are thanking the Lord for the great conference that He gave us this year. I trust that many of you made decisions that will stay with you for a lifetime. Pastor Herrell’s messages were fantastic to say the least, I could really see the hand of God on the services. It is finally here, the power of WE youth conference begins tonight at 8pm. Registration is from 6pm to 7:30pm so make sure you are here in plenty of time to get registered. There will also be a sponsors meeting at 7:30pm in the sponsors lounge. We are looking forward to having you all here, see you tonight.

We are getting really excited about the Greater Vancouver Youth Conference coming up in just one week. It will be an awesome time of preaching, singing, activities and fun around God’s Word. Just a quick update of where we are at. So far we have almost 60 teen signed up for the conference. If you have any friends who would like to come we can still accommodate a few more, make sure you email their registration information to me by the end of the week to get them in at the discounted rate. We are looking forward to the awesome preaching that we will be hearing this year and I want to encourage all of you to plan on allowing God to speak to you at the YC. We are looking forward to you all being here in 3 weeks.
